How to Get Your House Keys

Before tenants receive their keys all rents and deposits must be paid in full.

Tenants may either pay the balance in full online, through their online portal or through certified funds. If the tenant wishes to pay online payment in full must be made at least 5 business days prior to move-in.

If the balance is not paid in full by 5 business days before move-in then the tenant must provide certified funds such as a cashier’s check or money order and deliver it to the Property Manager prior to receiving keys.

Moving in when funds have been paid in full online

After payment has been received and verified by the property manager, tenants will be texted a code for the key box that will work on the move-in date.

The Property Manager will leave one key in the lockbox for the Tenant to remove. This key will be used by the tenant and any other keys or remotes for the property will be left in the kitchen in a cabinet or drawer. Within a week of move-in, the lockbox will be removed from the door.

Moving in with certified funds on the move-in date

Two days prior to move-in please contact the office to schedule a time to bring the certified funds to the Property Manager. Certified funds can be a certified check, cashiers check, or money order. Certified funds should be made payable to Maxfield Property Management for any remaining deposit(s), fees, and first month’s rent.

The representative collecting the funds will provide the Tenant with one key. All and any other keys or remotes for the property will be left in the kitchen in a cabinet or drawer. If there is a key box on the property, within a week of move-in, the lockbox will be removed from the door.
